Deadpool & Wolverine
Main Title Sequence
Role: Creative Direction / Design / Animation
You’ve got to love a return customer. 6 years after creating the title sequences for Deadpool 2, the team at Method Studios and I had the honor of collaborating with Shawn Levy and Ryan Reynolds on the epic opening title sequence of Marvel’s Deadpool & Wolverine. Working alongside the incredible VFX artists at Framestore, we designed the look, feel and movement of the credit typography.
But most importantly, we also brought to the table the idea of treating the title sequence like a music video, introducing cut away dancing shots to feature Deadpool’s take on N’SYNC’s classic Bye, Bye, Bye choreography.
