When Kimmelot approached me to create the opening title sequence for 4x20: Quick Hits - a Hulu anthology doc series - I was stoked to be involved. Each of the four episodes tells a completely different story from weed culture, so the brief was tricky: one vibe sequence that could sit comfortably in front of wildly different tones. 2d animated collages seemed like a perfect style for this brief, letting us lean into trippy, layered compositions and pepper in easter eggs that tied to each episode. Watch 4x20: Quick Hits on Hulu now.
